Emilie's Famous Chocolate Chip Cookies


2 1/2 C. Flour
1 Tsp. Baking Soda
1 Tsp. Salt (Sea Salt is best)
1 C. Crisco Butter Shortening Or 3/4 C. Butter Softened (not margarine/best if at room temperature)
Mix These Four Ingredients and Then Add:
3/4 C. Sugar
3/4 C. Brown Sugar
1 Tsp. Vanilla
2 Eggs (best if at room temperature)
1 Bag Semi-Sweet chocolate chips
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. They should be slightly underdone when you take them out. It is best to let them cool on some tin foil for about 10 minutes before serving.
