Buckeye Bars

 

1/2 C. Butter (softened)
3/4 C. Crunchy Peanut Butter
Vanilla Wafers - approx. 25 (crushed)
2 C. Powdered Sugar
4 oz. Frozen Cool Whip
3 Squares Bakers Semi-Sweet Chocolate

Line an 8x8in. pan with foil (extend over sides of pan - this is so you can easily remove the bars later). Beat softened butter and peanut butter until well blended. Add crushed wafers and mix. Gradually add powdered sugar until well mixed. Press mixture into the pan as evenly as possible.

Microwave chocolate and frozen cool whip for one minute - stir- microwave another minute if not completely melted then spread chocolate over the peanut butter layer.

Freeze at least 1 hour before serving.
